W.E.D. Allen (1901-1973)

Bill Allen was the eldest of three brothers who ran DAVID ALLENS, a major bill-posting company.

He served as the Unionist MP for West Belfast from 1929 to 1931 when he defected to join SIR OSWALD MOSLEY's NEW PARTY. He was a close friend of Mosley and helped him to pursue his Fascist ambitions from behind the scenes.

It has frequently been reported that he was an MI5 informant but this now appears to be false.

Marjorie Amor was the cover name for Marjorie Mackie (1898-1975)

An MI5 undercover agent who penetrated the RIGHT CLUB in 1939. She operated under her maiden name of MARJORIE AMOR and her Code Name was M/Y. She testified at the trials of TYLER KENT and ANNA WOLKOFF.

She was 'detained' at Holloway Prison in May 1940 but the other internees soon sussed her out as an MI5 stool pigeon.

Sir John Anderson, later Viscount Waverley (1882-1958)

Anderson was the Home Secretary from 1939 to 1940 and he resisted Churchill's efforts to 'get tough' with The Fifth Column until MAXWELL KNIGHT's 'sexed-up' report convinced him that ANNA WOLKOFF had a means of communication with Germany.
